Raihan Ahmed ... for the appellant Mr. Mukherjee, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the appellant has placed before us the information slip obtained from the Barrackpore Court in relation to MAT. Suit No. 1766 of 2022. It appears from the record that the parties filed a joint application under Section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act and the learned Trial Court has allowed the said joint application for mutual divorce. The marriage was solemnized between the parties on 19th October, 1998 and this marriage was dissolved by the decree of divorce w.e.f. 4 August 2022. A copy of the said information slip is taken with the record.

In view of the aforesaid order, the impugned order is set aside.

We dispose of the appeal by recording that the marriage has been dissolved by a decree of divorce w.e.f. 4th August, 2022.
