Mr. Gobinda Chakraborty for the petitioner Mr. Soumya Majumder, Ms. Sanjukta Dutta for the CESC The petitioner is an employee of the Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation Ltd. He has certain service disputes. The disputes are primarily private disputes, the respondent employer being a private entity, cannot be decided under Article 226 of the Constitution of India by the High Court.

In view of the above, no relief can be granted to the petitioner in the instant case.

W.P. No. 4703 (W) of 2018 and all connected applications stand dismissed.

Liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum in accordance with law.
