The petitioners are aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities in respect of Shakespeare Sarani Police Station Case No.18/2022 dated 01.02.2022 which was registered for investigation under Sections 120B/406/420/506(II)/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The grievance of the petitioners at the relevant point of time when the writ petition was preferred related to seizures in respect of recovery of the goods as well as for tracing out the offenders.

State has submitted a report which reflects that on or about 14.07.2023 after completion of investigation under the same sections, charge-sheet was filed before the jurisdictional court against all the FIR named accused persons.

In view of the aforesaid, I am of the opinion that in case the petitioners have further grievance, the petitioners would address the same before the learned court in seisin of Shakespeare Sarani Police Station Case No.18/2022. The learned Magistrate will consider the same in accordance with law and pass necessary orders.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 6207 of 2024 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
