The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher in Geography (Pass) in a High School since 2009. The petitioner had made an application for transfer sometime in 2022, which was duly forwarded by the School Authorities by issuing a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to the respondent no. 5. The respondent no. 5 in its turn has forwarded the same to the respondent no. 4 sometime in the year 2022. The same is pending consideration before the Commission.

Learned Advocate appearing for the respondent no. 4, submits that the pendency is on account of suspension of the Utsashree portal.

The suspension of "Utsashree Portal" shall not be an impediment for the commission to consider the application for transfer of the petitioner.

The respondent no. 4, the Secretary, WBCSSC is directed to consider the application in accordance with law and dispose of the same by July 15, 2026 and communicate the result of such consideration to the petitioner as well as to the school authorities by the aforestated date. The commission will recommend the name of the petitioner to a school of her choice, provided the opted seats have not been notified for some other recruitment process.

With these afore-stated directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. 8.
