The petitioners filed this application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking quashing of proceeding CS Case No. 0088963 of 2016 under Sections 138/141 of the N.I. Act, 1881 pending before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 6th Court, Calcutta including the order of cognizance and order dated 4th November, 2016 passed in the said matter. As the petitioners did not turn up on several dates. The instant case is, thus, dismissed for default. Consequently, CRAN 1 of 2017(Old No. CRAN 2441 of 2017) and CRAN 2 of 2018 (old No. CRAN 1156 of

2018 is also disposed of. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
