1. This revisional application seeks expeditious disposal of Mat Suit No.2921 of 2017 pending before the learned Additional District Judge, 13th Court, Alipore, District - South 24-Parganas.

2. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the said suit is one for dissolution of marriage under Section 13 of the Special Marriage Act. It is submitted that the said suit has been pending since long. It is further submitted that an application for amendment of plaint has also been pending consideration before the learned Trial Court.

In view of the nature of the order proposed to be passed, prior service of notice of the revisional application along with a notice is not being directed, however, the petitioner shall remain obliged to serve a copy of the revisional application along with a copy of this order upon the opposite party within a week from date.

4. Having heard the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner and having considered the material

on record, this revisional application is disposed of by requesting the learned Additional District Judge, 13th Court, Alipore, District - South 24-Parganas to dispose of the application under Order 6 Rule 17 of the Code of Civil Procedure pending before the said Court as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of two months from the next date fixed. Thereafter, the said learned Court shall endeavour to dispose of the Matrimonial Suit as expeditiously as the business of the learned Court would permit.

CO 899 of 2026 stands disposed of without any order as to costs.
