No accommodation is sought for at the time of call. Even on earlier occasion, i.e., on 04.11.2024, no one appeared on behalf of the petitioners. This case is pending since 2017.

By filing this revisional under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the petitioner sought for quashing of the proceeding being G.R. Case No. 2270/2014 arising out of Mandir Bazar Police Station Case No. 239/2014 dated 27th May, 2014 under Sections 498A/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code pending before the learned 2nd Judicial Magistrate, Diamond Harbour, 24 Parganas (South).

Considering the nature of prayer and long pendency it appears that the petitioners have lost their interest to proceed with the instant matter. 5.
Accordingly, CRR 701 of 2017 is dismissed for default.

Interim orders, if any, be vacated.

Let a copy of this order be communicated to the learned trial Court below for information.
