Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the subject matter of the case relates to alleged recovery of 301 bottles of phensedyl. Additionally, it has also been submitted that some of the witnesses have turned hostile, as such, the petitioner may be released on bail.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that examination of the accused persons under Section 313 Cr.P.C. is fixed on 2nd April, 2026. Having considered the advanced stage of the case, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM(NDPS)479 of 2026 is dismissed.
