The petitioner seeks general transfer. An application was filed seeking transfer in June, 2020. The same is yet to be disposed of. The writ petition is pending since 2022.

In the interregnum of four years that have elapsed from the date of filing the application for transfer, there may be change in circumstances. It will be open for the petitioner to make fresh application seeking transfer. In the event, an application is made, the same shall be considered in accordance with law by the Secretary, West Bengal

Board of Primary Education within a period of 90 days from the date of submission of the application for transfer. A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties as early as possible.
