Petitioner seeks bail.

Considering the fact that the commercial quantity of narcotics was recovered from the possession of the petitioner, we are of the view that the petitioner is unable to rebut the restrictions under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, 1985. Consequently, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

The Court is informed that the trial is in progress. Out of eight witnesses, three witnesses were examined. The petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of the trial.

In such circumstances, it would be appropriate to request the trial court to fix consecutive dates of trial and endeavour to adhere to the same. The trial court is also requested not to grant any unnecessary adjournments to any of

the parties.

C.R.M. (NDPS) 332 of 2022 is dismissed.
