(Via Video Conference) Mr. Subir Sanyal, Mr. Bikram Banerjee, Mr. Sudipta Dasgupta ...for the petitioner It is submitted that the order dated March 12, 2021 has not been complied with. The order directed the alleged contemnors to permit the petitioner to join service within 7 days from March 12, 2021 i.e. March 19, 2021.
In reply to the communication as regards the order, the petitioner was told that appropriate action would be taken after consultation with CO/legal counsel and further action shall be intimated.
It is submitted by Mr. Sanyal, learned counsel for the petitioner that this amounts to further contempt in addition to non-compliance of the order dated March 12, 2021. It is submitted that his client is not aware of any appeal against the said order.
In those circumstances, let a Rule be issued upon the alleged contemnors as prayed for.
The Rule is made returnable on November 26, 2021.
