The grievance of the petitioner is that the property of the petitioner has been utilised for the purpose of extension of the existing road. The petitioner claims to have submitted a representation to the Executive Engineer, PWD, Purba Medinipur.

However, it does not appear that any decision on such representation has been taken by such authority.

In view of the aforesaid, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the Executive Engineer, PWD, Purba Medinipur, Tamluk Division, being the 7th respondent in this writ petition, to consider the representation dated 21.02.2020 which is appearing at page 68 of the writ petition and to dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order upon giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner or his authorised representative and communicate a reasoned order to the petitioner

immediately thereafter. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of a server copy of this order along a copy of the representation dated 21.02.2020.
