And In Re : Rajiv Chaurasia ...... petitioner Mr. Mrityunjoy Chatterjee Mr. Tusar Hazra ....for the petitioner Md. Anwar Hossain Ms. Manisha Sharma ....for the State There are three eye witnesses claiming that the petitioner was involved in the rash driving leading to the death of a person.

The owner of the vehicle recorded a statement stating that the petitioner was the driver of the vehicle at the material point of time.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1084 of 2023 is dismissed.
