The writ petitioner had represented before the Inspector General of Registration, and the A.D.S.R., Sutahata Sub-Registry Office, District-Purba Medinipore on 18.01.2021 that deed no. 1826 dated 10.03.1991 presented for registration has not been delivered back to him after compliance.

It is submitted that the stamp paper by which duty has been paid to the State, has been found to be fake.

Reliance is placed upon a Division Bench judgement of this Court in FMA 200 of 2010, which was disposed of in the year 2011, indicating that the petitioner is entitled to obtain certified copy after putting in the value of the stamp. The petitioner has approached this Court after 23 years.

The respondent no. 4 shall consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 18.01.2021,

within a period of two months from the date of communication of a copy of this order. Due regard shall be given to the judgement of the division bench referred to hereinabove, in disposal of the above representation.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
