1. Learned Advocate for the petitioner prays for bail on the ground that the petitioner is detained in custody since 14.03.2024 for more than two years.

2. On the other hand learned Advocate for the State submits that out of the 15 witnesses, 9 witnesses have already been examined.

3. Having considered the advanced stage of the trial, I am not inclined to allow the petitioner on bail. As such the prayer for bail being CRM (M) 675 of 2026 is dismissed.

4. However, the learned Trial Court will expedite the process of trial so that at the earliest the verdict may be given.
