Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the police received two complaints from the petitioner and the private respondent.

Initially the complaints of the private parties were entered into the diary. Thereafter, on further complaints being received, the police registered the respective complaints of the private parties as first information reports and the investigations with regard thereto are in progress.

In the facts of the present case, since the police took actions as noted above, no further interference is called for by the writ court at this stage. Accordingly, WPA 4762 of 2020 is disposed of.
