Heard learned Advocates appearing for the parties. Pursuant to the earlier order of this court dated 4th April, 2023, by which Mr. Mukherjee, learned Advocate representing the WBGST Authority concerned was directed to take instructions with regard to the revenue due, which is required to be paid by the petitioner for restoration of his registration. Mr. Mukherjee on instructions submits that "late fee" and the tax due, if any, is to be paid by the petitioner for restoration of his registration. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submission of the parties, this writ petition being WPA 5969 of 2023, is disposed of by directing the respondent authority concerned to open the portal of the petitioner within three days from the date of communication of this order, for a period of 30 days to enable the petitioner to pay all the revenue dues,

which are required to be paid by the petitioner for restoration of his registration.

In case of default in making the payment of "late fee" and the tax due, if any, within 30 days from the date of opening of the portal, the respondent authority concerned will be free to close the portal again and proceed in accordance with law.
