1) Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

2) It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has purchased a commercial vehicle by obtaining loan from financial institution being respondent no. 7 on 12th February, 2021. It is alleged that on 20th February, 2026 forcibly his vehicle was taken away by some persons which prompted the petitioner to lodge a complaint with the concerned police station on 21st February, 2026. Prayer is made for directing the concerned police authorities to take steps based on the said complaint lodged by the petitioner.

3) Learned advocate representing the respondent no. 7 has disputed the submission made on behalf of the petitioner and it is submitted that petitioner failed to pay Equal Monthly Installment (EMI) in connection with loan taken by the petitioner for purchasing the vehicle resulting in confiscation of the vehicle. In same breath, it is also submitted on behalf of the respondent no. 7 that vehicle has been returned to the petitioner.

4) State respondents are represented by learned advocate.

5) Having considered the submission made on behalf of the respondent no. 7 that vehicle has been returned to the petitioner, no further order need be passed on this writ petition.

6) Writ petition stands disposed of.

7) There shall be no order as to costs.

8) Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
