1. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 10 months and out of 31 witnesses cited by the prosecution, till date only 10 witnesses have been examined.

2. Learned advocate for the State has opposed the prayer for bail and produced the case diary.

3. I have taken into account the statement of the victim under Section 164 of Cr.P.C./183 of the B.N.S.S. Having regard to the statement of the victim which primarily reflects that the petitioner was also a part of the conspiracy in which the other family

members engaged young women for prostitution and the complicity of the petitioner is evident from the statement under Section 183 of the B.N.S.S., I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

4. Learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the process of trial.

5. At this stage, the prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected.

6. Accordingly, C.R.M.(M) 674 of 2026 is dismissed.

7. All parties shall act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
