Pursuant to an order passed by this Court on October 01, 2021 in WPA No. 17704 of 2019 directing the State authorities to disburse the compensation amount assessed in favour of the petitioners within a period of four months from the date of communication of this order, notice was issued upon the petitioners for submission of requisite documents and bank details in connection with the payment of compensation.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that some amount has been deposited in the bank account of the petitioners as compensation but the petitioners are unhappy with the said quantum. The petitioners seek a direction upon the concerned authority to release the details of the compensation paid to them in connection with the LA Case No. II/21A of 1980-81 in order to enable

them to take necessary steps for enhancement of compensation.

Upon consideration of the submission made on behalf of the parties, the writ petition is allowed in terms of prayer (a).

The 3rd respondent is directed to act in terms of prayer (a) of the writ petition within two weeks from the date of communication of this order.

With the above observations and directions this writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be, however, no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
