Dey Mr. Abhijit Sarkar ... for the School authorities These two writ petitions are relating to the same issue and are accordingly, taken up together. I have heard learned Counsel for the appearing parties and perused the materials on record.
By consent of all the parties the following order is passed :-
The representations of the petitioners dated October 5, 2020 (at page 245 in W.P.A. 6769 of 2021 and September 21, 2020 (at page 216 in W.P.A. 6773 of 2021) are to be considered by the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Kolkata after granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and the school authorities. The School authorities are directed to produce the service books of all the petitioners before the concerned District Inspector of Schools (S.E.) and the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.) is directed to examine as to why the petitioners are not signing on the service books and their complaints in relation to the same. The District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Kolkata shall also consider the other issue that has been raised in the representations. A reasoned order is to be passed within a period of twelve weeks from date and the same should be communicated to the petitioners and the school authorities within a week from the date of passing of the same.
With the above directions, both the writ petitions are disposed of.
Since no affidavit-in-opposition is called for, allegations made in the writ petitions are deemed not to have been admitted.
