The contention of the writ petitioner is that even after payment of all money required for getting the duplicate permit, it has not been issued to him since 2019.

Learned advocate appearing for the State has received instruction over telephone and the authority has intimated him that some amount is still due.

In such circumstances, I dispose of the writ petition with a direction upon the Secretary of the State Transport Authority, Government of West Bengal, being the respondent no.3, to fix a meeting with the petitioner or with his authorized representative on 25th March, 2021 or 26th March, 2021 to intimate him about the shortcomings,

on fulfillment of which the duplicate permit can be issued to him.

The aforesaid dates are to be intimated to the learned advocate for the petitioner by the authority concerned through their learned advocate Mr. Nayak by 23rd March 2021.

The petitioner shall have liberty to clarify all his points before the Secretary, State Transport Authority on the date of meeting.

With these observations, the writ application is disposed of.
