Instructions forwarded by the Commandant (Estt) dated April 28, 2026 mentions that due to inadvertent clerical error while entering data in the SSC web utility, NCC 'B' certificate was erroneously recorded in respect of the petitioner in place of NCC 'C' certificate.

The petitioner has been found to be a fit candidate and the dossier of the petitioner is available with RRC, CRPF, Durgapur. The authority is taking necessary corrective measures. 3.

As it appears that the authority has detected the error and is taking steps to rectify the same, accordingly, the instant writ petition stands disposed of by directing the authority to take all necessary consequential steps in the matter and ensure that appointment letter is issued in favour of the petitioner at the earliest without any further delay, preferably within eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.
