In Re: CRAN 1 of 2024

1. Sufficient cause have been shown for non-appearance on 8th March, 2024 when the application for anticipatory bail was dismissed for default. The order dated 8th March, 2024 is recalled and the matter is restored to its original file.

2. Accordingly, CRAN 1 of 2024 is disposed of.

3. On consent of parties, the anticipatory bail application is taken up for consideration.

In Re: CRM (A) 828 of 2024

4. On an undertaking given by the learned counsel for the petitioner that he shall meet the Investigating Officer (IO) at Bhabani Bhawan on Friday (28.06.2024) and shall not leave the jurisdiction till the investigation is complete and shall comply with requisition under Section 91 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, no coercive step shall be taken against the petitioner for a period of fortnight.

5. It is needless to mention that he shall meet the IO on each and every date as may be required by the IO to conclude the investigation.

6. The IO shall file a report on the adjourned date.

7. The matter is adjourned for fortnight (10.07.2024).

8. The petitioner shall remain within the jurisdiction of the Alipore Police Station and shall provide the necessary details of the present address where he shall be residing with the IO. (Soumen Sen, J.) (Uday Kumar, J.)
