The petitioners are alleging that the private respondents being respondent nos.8 to 14 have encroached upon PWD Road, namely, Betai to Plassey road thereby causing disturbance in free ingress and egress to their house and land.

The petitioners, ventilating the said grievances, on January 15, 2021 had made a representation before the Assistant Engineer PWD, Plassey Sub-Division, District : Nadia, the respondent no.6 herein. The said representation forms part of the writ petition being Annexure P-5.

The petitioners are praying disposal of the said representation.

The respondent no.6 is directed to consider the said representation of the petitioners expeditiously in accordance with law.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have denied by the respondents.

WPA 6782 of 2021 is disposed of with the above observations without any order as to costs.

Urgent Photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
