The writ petition revolves around the complaint of the petitioner against her in-laws alleging cruelty.

The petitioner claims to have been driven out from her matrimonial house along with her husband by her in-laws. The petitioner approached the learned Magistrate under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 in the year 2022. She complains that despite complaint lodged before the police, F.I.R. has not been registered.

The complaint of the petitioner is dated 22nd February, 2023.

The Officer-in-Charge, Gosaba Police Station is directed to take necessary steps in response to the complaint lodged by the petitioner.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
