Despite service of notice, the private respondents are not represented. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

The writ petitioner complains that the Ramnagar Police Station has not taken any steps despite complaint dated 7th December 2020.

It appears from the records that T.S. No.349 of 2019 has been filed and the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division) Diamond Harbour ordered status quo vide order dated 5th November 2019. The petitioner may seek enforcement of the status quo before the Civil Court against the private respondents.

The Officer-in-Charge, Ramnagar Police Station shall strictly comply with any direction passed by the Civil Court and ensure that any order of status quo is strictly implemented by all parties. A report may be submitted by the Ramnagar Police to the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division) Diamond Harbour in T.S. No.349 of 2019 in that regard.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
