Petitioner approached this court as there has been unnecessary interference with his property and disturbance created by the private respondents. To that effect, information was furnished with the Officer-in-charge Gobardhanpur Coastal Police Station and in spite of receiving the information, the police authorities did not take any steps and the petitioner and his family members are facing the wrath.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the

writ petition, the petitioner has expired but the family members are suffering the consequences still now.

Learned advocate for the State opposes the contention and submits that whenever informations have been received, appropriate steps have been taken by the police authorities.

The information was furnished on or about 23.02.2024. More than one year have passed. In case the family members of the petitioner still face any inconveniences they would file a fresh representation with the police authorities. Police authorities on receipt of the same will act in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 6291 of 2024 is disposed of.
