Heard the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. Perused the case diary. The co-accused persons are on anticipatory bail granted by this Court on earlier occasion. Investigation was initiated on 15th May, 2018. Charge sheet has been filed being charge sheet no.8 of 2019 dated 15th January, 2019. Further custodial interrogation or detention is not necessary.

On a perusal of the case diary and other materials and considering the nature of allegations, we are inclined to allow the anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 with a further condition that the petitioners shall not enter the jurisdiction of Uluberia Police Station until further orders. It is further directed that the petitioner shall attend the learned trial court on all the dates, as fixed for hearing, and shall not intimidate the witnesses or tamper with evidence in any manner

whatsoever.

It is made clear that in the event the petitioner fail to comply with the aforesaid directions without any justifiable cause, the learned trial court would be at liberty to cancel the petitioner's bail without any further reference to this Court.

The application for anticipatory bail being CRM No.2449 of 2021 is, accordingly, disposed of.
