The petitioner is aggrieved that the private respondents are effecting construction over the land belonging to the Irrigation Department and are obstructing ingress and egress of the property. The remedy of the petitioner is to approach Irrigation Department for the unauthorized construction. The concerned police station shall ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area.

The petitioner may take out any proceedings against the Irrigation Department separately in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
