Chatterjee, Advocates ... for the State The petitioner is a guardian of the student of Durganagar Bholanath Siksha Niketan. The grievance of the petitioner is that the present Managing Committee of the school is not working properly, is not distributing the mid-day meals to the student, not filling up the vacant posts of the teaching and non-teaching staff, and is committing defalcation of huge Government money regarding building grants, books allotment, dress allotment and Sarba Siksha Abhijan, etc.
The record reflects that the petitioner has already filed the representation before the respondent No.4 [District Inspector of Schools (SE), South 24 Parganas] on 24.02.2022 but the said representation has not been considered till now.
Learned counsel for the State fairly submits that there is no objection in considering the representation and taking decision in respect of the grievance raised by the petitioner.
WPA (P) 140 of 2022 Hence, we dispose of the present writ petition directing the respondent No.4 to duly consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.02.2022 and look into the grievance raised therein and take appropriate action in accordance with law to ensure that the education of the children in the school is not adversely affected on account of the lapse on the part of the Managing Committee.
Let this exercise be completed by the respondent No.4 within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
