A report has been filed by the Pradhan of the Gram Panchayat mentioning that the opening date of the financial bid was scheduled on March 19, 2024 at 2 p.m. As the Parliamentary General Election, 2024 was declared on March 16, 2024 and the Model Code of Conduct came into play, accordingly, the Panchayat was unable to open the financial bid. The Panchayat is not aware of the details of the financial bids submitted by the bidders.

Fact remains that the petitioner did not participate in the 2nd bid and the 1st bid stood cancelled. At this stage the Court does not find any reason to interfere in the instant writ petition.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
