Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 107 days. The police filed charge sheet. He refers to the respective ages of the victim and of the petitioner.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code, the medical report of the victim as also the statement of the mother of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein as transpiring from the

materials in the case diary, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (DB) 878 of 2022 is dismissed.
