Petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the police as the private respondents are attempting to dispossess from his house and inflicting mental torture upon him. To that effect, representation was submitted to the Officer-in-charge, Namkhana Police Station. However, no steps have been taken by the concerned police station till date. As such petitioner prays for interference by this court.

Learned advocate for the private respondent nos. 4 and 5 submits that the nature of the accusations do not make out any cognizable or noncognizable offence for interference by the police authorities.

Learned advocate for the State submits that proceedings have been drawn up under section 126 of the BNSS.

Having regard to the nature of the accusations made and the difference and dispute arising out of a family feud, presumably I am of the opinion that the police authorities would keep a strict vigil and ensure that there is no breach of the peace and/or tranquility and/or any untoward incident resulting from the inimical relationship existing between the parties.

In case the situation is blown out of proportion, petitioner would be at liberty to approach the jurisdictional court under the relevant provisions of law.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 5929 of 2025 is disposed of.
