Petitioner is aggrieved by the protest petition pending in connection with G.R. Case No.1610 of 2022 arising out of Khejuri Police Station Case No.253 of 2022 dated 31.07.2022. It has been informed that the next date of hearing has been fixed on 2nd August, 2024.

Learned ACJM, Contai is directed to prepone the date of hearing as the learned advocate appearing for the State has consented to the proposal of the present petitioner. Let the application be heard out on the date so fixed and final order be passed on 2nd August, 2024 as earlier fixed by the court. Learned ACJM, Contai would be at liberty to fix as many number of dates as he deems fit and proper and would finally dispose of the application under Section 173(8) of the Code of Criminal Procedure on 2nd August, 2024.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 965 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

Petitioner would be at liberty to produce the server copy of the order and the learned ACJM, Contai will act on the same for the purposes of preponing the date and effect service upon the State.
