From the report it appears that the minor child was compelled by villagers to make false statement before the Magistrate to implicate the petitioner. Criminal case has been started against the said villagers.

In view of the aforesaid development, we confirm the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 16.03.2023 on the same terms and conditions save and except the condition imposed that the petitioner shall not enter the district of Malda. The application for bail is thus disposed of. Criminal case registered against the villagers be conducted with utmost expedition and taken to its logical conclusion at the earliest.
