Ghola P.S. Case No. 29 of 2025 and Ghola P.S. Case No. 30 of 2025.

The petitioner's main grievance is that he raised the issue regarding filling up of a water body. To that effect, he initiated a proceeding before the National Green Tribunal. Consequent to which, he has been foisted with number of criminal cases thereby jeopardizing his life and liberty.

The petitioner complains that

presently he is unable to enter and/or go near to the water body because of atrocities inflicted upon him by the private respondent(s) concerned.

State has submitted a report. Let the same be kept with the record.

Having considered the submissions advanced and without going into the same, I am of the view that there was a direction earlier passed in WPA 13974 of 2023, wherein, the police authorities were directed to keep a strict vigil at the locale so that no untoward incident results as also to ensure that the order of the learned Civil Court is not violated.

Be that as it may, the investigation of the case is in progress and charge-sheet is yet to be submitted.

Having considered that the cases which have been registered may be counter-blast to the steps taken by the petitioner, I direct that the superior officer

of the police being the Deputy Commissioner-in-charge of Ghola P.S.

would consider the representation, if any, of the petitioner in respect of the criminal cases referred to in the writ petition.

However, the petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court at the appropriate stage, preferably, at the stage after the police authorities arrive at a conclusion, if any, that a case has been made against the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 5946 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
