It is submitted on behalf of the National Highway Authority of India that eviction drive is in progress. They could remove encroachers of about 500 meters. Further time was required to remove all the encroachments. Further assistance of the State machinery is also required for such purpose. She seeks further time. Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the eviction drive was taken so far as the express way was concerned. The service road remains unattended to.

No doubt, both the National Highways Authority of India and the State authorities will remove the encroachment in terms of the order of the High Court. List the application on February 24, 2023 when a further report be submitted. By which time, it is expected that the entire encroachments are removed. (Debangsu Basak, J.)
