Heard the learned Advocates of the parties.

We have considered the materials on record.

Statement of the minor shows the petitioner and a neighbour subjected her to penetrative sexual assault.

In view of the nature of offence and as the release of bail of the petitioner may have adverse impact on the victim who is yet to be examined, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
