This revisional application has been filed for expeditious disposal of Title Suit No.51 of 2015 pending before the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), 2nd Court at Burdwan.

It is the contention of the petitioner that the said suit has been pending for a long time and despite several dates having been fixed for peremptory hearing since 2018, the suit has not progressed.

Reliance is placed on an order passed by a coordinate Bench of this Court directing the suit to be disposed of expeditiously within a year from July 20, 2018. Having considered the records, without going into the merits of the suit, this revisional application is disposed of with a direction upon the learned court below to dispose of the title suit expeditiously, preferably within a period of eight months from date of communication of this order without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties. It is made clear that the learned court below shall proceed independently and in accordance with law.

Petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this revisional application along with a server copy of this order upon the opposite parties and/or their learned advocate appearing in the learned court below.

The revisional application is disposed of.

There will be, however, no order as to costs. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis. (Shampa Sarkar, J.)
