The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that Ultadanga Police Station has not taken any steps against his complaint dated 22nd March 2022.

This Court notices that there are indeed some cognizable offences that are prima facie evident in the complaint of the petitioner and that the Ultadanga police are yet to register an FIR.

In that view of the matter, the Ultadanga Police Station shall register the FIR in respect of the petitioner's complaint, and shall carry out investigation in accordance with law. Any further complaint against the petitioner shall also be suitably investigated after registration of FIR.

Since the petitioner complains that he is unable to enter into his house, the Officer-in-Charge, Ultadanga Police Station, shall inquire into the matter and take suitable steps in accordance with law.

The petitioner shall meet the investigating officer, as and when required, for the aforesaid purposes. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
