The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction upon the concerned respondents to remove the encroachment on Government lands, which has been obstructing the petitioners' free access to their residence. 2.

Ms. Roy Mukherjee, learned Advocate representing the State respondents, produced a report and submitted that the encroachment had already been removed by the Assistant Engineer on 19th July 2022. She referred to a document executed by Petitioner No. 1 on 26th July 2022, in which the petitioner no.1 himself acknowledged that the encroachment was removed to his full satisfaction. A copy of that report was handed over to Mr. Sinha, learned Advocate representing the petitioners, in Court today. 3.

In light of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in the writ petition or the connected application. Accordingly, both are disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
