The Appellate Authority under Section 127 of the Electricity Act, 2003 and another Mr. Subir Sanyal, Mr. Somnath Bose ...for the CESC Limited It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners/CESC Limited, in his usual fairness, that the restoration of the electricity connection of the private respondent had been effected long back upon payment of seventy five per cent of the final order of assessment plus meter replacement charges and reconnection charges and, subsequently, the private respondent deposited the balance sum of Rs.92,891/- on September 07, 2022. Thereafter, the load factor in the said connection was also enhanced on the private respondent's application and due payment was also made by the private respondent on such score. As such, the cause of action pleaded in the present writ petition has become infructuous.
Keeping on record the written instruction filed by learned counsel for the petitioners/CESC Limited, W.P.A. No. 4893 of
2011 is disposed of as infructuous without, however, any order as to costs.
Interim order, if any passed in the matter, stands automatically vacated.
