Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that he intends to approach the arbitrator for relief in connection with the tender which was issued in his favour in the year 2020 for construction of saline research road, widening and strengthening work under South 24-Parganas Highway Division in the district of South 24-Parganas. The petitioner relies upon the general rules and directions for guidance of bidders/contractors in support of the submission that there is a provision for approaching the arbitrator in case of any dispute or difference arising between the parties.

As the petitioner intends to approach the arbitrator, accordingly, no order is required to be passed in the instant writ petition save and except that it will be open for the petitioner to approach the arbitrator in accordance with law, if so advised. The writ petition stands disposed of.
