The present writ petition has been preferred by the petitioners in view of the information submitted on December, 2023 and the same being not acted upon by the Officer-in-Charge, Nowda Police Station or by any superior officer of the said District.

Petitioners complained that in spite of the decree passed by the Civil Court, they were being harassed and disturbed at the subject property.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State has submitted a report which reflects that earlier a similar

writ petition was preferred being W.P.6912(W) of 2016 wherein a coordinate Bench was pleased to pass necessary directions.

Learned Advocate for the private respondents submits that an appeal has been preferred against the decree which has been referred to by the petitioners and the same is still pending.

In view of the information furnished to the police authorities being more than a year ago, I grant liberty to the petitioners to file afresh information of the complaint with the Officer-in-Charge, Nowda Police Station who would act in accordance with the directions passed in W.P. 6912(W) 2016.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 6355 of 2024 stands disposed of.
