It is submitted by the learned Advocate for the appellant that the respondent has died in the meantime and, therefore, the appeal has become infructuous. A letter received by him from his client is produced in Court today, which is kept on record.

It further appears that an application being CAN 8 of 2021 has also been taken out in this regard. In view of the above and the fact that there was no child born from the said wedlock, the instant appeal has become infructuous and the same is dismissed as 'infructuous'.
