The State respondents had been served and are represented today. With regard to the private respondents, namely, fifth and sixth respondents, the service of the writ petition is not complete.

The writ petitioner claims that the private respondents are creating disturbance on the peaceful possession, occupation and enjoyment of the writ petitioner's land. The writ petitioner had lodged a complaint dated January 27, 2021 before the Officer-in-Charge, Domkal Police Station, Murshidabad. The same was received and marked with G.D.E. No. 1370 dated January 27, 2021. Ms. Prativa Ghatak, learned advocate representing the State respondents submitted a report dated March 10, 2021, prepared by the Inspector-in-Charge, Domkal Police Station, the same is kept on record. It appears from the report that

pursuant to the said complaint of the writ petitioner dated January 27, 2021, prosecution had already been initiated under the relevant provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code and the same had been registered as Domkal P.S. P.R. No. 228 of 2021 dated January 27, 2021. The report also referred to a criminal proceeding filed by the writ petitioner under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. In view of the above, it appears that the police authority had already taken steps and the learned advocate appearing for the State further submitted on instruction that, all necessary steps in the matter shall be taken in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. Nothing more survives in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the present writ petition being WPA No. 6871 of 2021 stands disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
