for the applicant The review application has been preferred praying for review of order passed by this Court on 04.12.2024 in FMA531 of 2012.

Relying upon the judgment of Supreme Court in Union of India Vs. Rina Devi reported in (2019) 3 SCC 572 (paragraph 18 and 19), the applicant/respondent being the Union of India represented by the General Manager, South Eastern Railway, Garden Reach, Khidderpore, Kolkata states that the maximum amount of compensation as revised is Rs.8 lakhs and as such the same cannot be granted along with interest. On this ground, review of the order is prayed for.

The judgment relied upon by the revisionist has been countered by the claimant herein by relying upon a judgment of the Delhi High Court passed in Vijendra Singh & Anr. vs. Union of India in FAO 311 of 2015.

Relying upon paragraph 15 of the said judgment it is submitted that the Court has granted

statutory compensation of Rs.8 lakhs along with interest has been granted by the Court.

On hearing the learned counsel for the parties and on considering the prayer for review, this Court finds that the Court has granted compensation along with interest, which is applicable in every claim case.

Accordingly, there being no error apparent on the face of the record, the review application stands dismissed.

All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
