Kalighat Police Station has filed a report dated 20.09.2022 and the same is taken on record.

Admittedly, there are civil disputes between the petitioners and the private respondents/landlord. The petitioners are depositing rent in respect of the premises before the Rent Controller.

Parties may sort out civil disputes before the civil or statutory forum.

The O. C., Kalighat Police Station shall, however ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area. The private respondents shall not harass the petitioners.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
