The petitioners seek quashing of FIR being Uluberia PS Case No. 95 of 2023 on the ground that the same is a counter blast to a complaint and FIR registered at the instance of the petitioners against the private respondents.

Admittedly, there is long standing property dispute. There have been complaints and counter complaints and FIRs registered by the Uluberia Police Station.

This Court is of the view that the facts of the case do not warrant interference under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The petitioners may explore other remedies in law, inter alia, under the Cr. P.C.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

6.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
